A weak earthquake with 2.2 at Richter scale occurred near Kg. Janda Baik at 9:41am at latitude 3.2 North and longitude 102.0 East. The epicentre is located 9km South-East of Kg. Janda Baik, Bukit Tinggi. The last tremors were felt in Bukit Tinggi town was on October 8, 2009 at 5:50 am with the magnitude of 2.8 on the Richter scale which is located about 25km from today’s earthquake epicentre.
